Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information the DocStudio app for the Frappe Framework collects and how it is used.

1. Your data stays on your site

DocStudio runs entirely inside your own Frappe / ERPNext site. Your records, invoices, tables, documents and the .docx files you create are processed on your server and stored in your own database and file system.

DocStudio does not:

• send your business data, documents or files to us or to any third party;
• include analytics, tracking or “phone home” code;
• collect personal information about you or your users.

2. Fonts in the preview

To show the preview in fonts close to what Word uses, the preview may load web fonts (such as Noto Sans and Noto Sans Tamil) from Google Fonts in the user’s browser. Only the font files are requested; no record data is sent. The downloaded .docx files never depend on this.

3. Information you send us

If you contact us for support (by email or a GitHub issue), we receive only what you choose to send, such as your email address, your message and any screenshots. We use it only to answer your request and do not sell or share it.

Please don’t send us confidential business data. A screenshot or a sample record is usually enough.

4. Third-party services

If you install DocStudio through the Frappe Cloud Marketplace or GitHub, those services’ own privacy policies apply to your use of them.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version.
