Terms of Service

Effective date: 27 September 2026

These terms set out the rules for using DocStudio, a free app for the Frappe Framework. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.

1. License

DocStudio is free and open source under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify and distribute it under the terms of that license.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for your own Frappe / ERPNext site, its data, backups and user permissions.
• You are responsible for the documents you create. Please review generated documents before sending them to your customers.
• When Save to Form is used, DocStudio writes changes back to your records, following your site’s permissions. Test on a staging site first if your records are critical.

3. No warranty

DocStudio runs entirely on your own infrastructure and is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, as stated in the MIT License.

4. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for data entry mistakes, data loss, server downtime, formatting issues, or any indirect or consequential loss resulting from the use of DocStudio.

5. Support

Support is provided on a best-effort basis. See Support.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use of DocStudio after an update means you accept the updated terms.
